| Basics | ||

The key to getting the information you need is to use the links
at the top and bottom of each page. These links take you to the
following pages: Find - Select the nearest town, city or region from the list displayed for the relevant country and then view all the hotels in that location page by page. Hotels are displayed ten to a page and searches are restricted to a maximum of 200 hotels. World hotels - Through our link up with TravelNow you can find a hotel in over 5000 cities around the world, check availability and reserve your room on line. Advanced hotel search - Even if you only know part of the name or address of a hotel, use this search to find it. If you still have no luck, let our intelligent search analyse your search data and find any hotels which match. Searches are restricted to a maximum of 200 hotels. Car rental - Rent a car at discount rates throughout the world. Air fares - Select your departure location and destination and find a cheap flight simply and quickly.
Add a Hotel - If you own or manage a hotel which you would like listed
free of charge on our site or you
would like to recommend one for inclusion, click the Add Hotel link and complete the form.
New hotels are normally added within one to two working days. Links - Our links page provides access to many other useful travel related sites giving you instant access to a wealth of national and local information from car hire to passport and visa requirements. Bookstore - From our bookstore you can locate and buy travel related or any other type of book from a database of over 2.5 million titles. Contact us - Details of contact information if you should need to get in touch. Awards - Our site has won awards for its quality and content. Help us to win more. World hotel bookings, car rental and discount air fares are provided through our affiliation with TravelNow. |

It is not always possible for us to obtain full details from all the hotels listed, so if
the information you need is not shown, please contact the hotel direct
by phone, fax or email. Please remember - The hotel you need to contact may not be in your time zone and may not have 24 hour reception facilities. Before you phone a hotel, please check the local time by clicking on the World Clock link at the top of any listing page. This displays times around the world so you can determine the time at the hotel. If you are still unsure, use email or send a fax. Please bookmark our site as our database is being continually updated. |

| Maps | ||

For the UK listings, most hotels have a link to a map showing the location of
the hotel. The initial display shows the area in which the hotel is located. Street level or
regional maps are also available by clicking on the relevant links.
Once a 'map window' has been opened, any other maps will be displayed in the same window. Please note that as you change between the map window and the main HotelFinder window, you may have to use the minimised icons on the status bar at the bottom of the screen (Windows 95/98/NT users) to swap between the two. (Tip: Although the small map windows will close automatically after 90 seconds, close each map window as soon as you are finished with it.) |

| Automatic currency conversions for all major currencies are available by clicking on the room rates where shown. (Tip: Close the Currency Convertor as soon as you are finished with it.) | ||
