London is the capital of the UK and the saying goes that 'If you're tired of London,
you're tired of life'. London is one of my favourite places in the world and always
manages to be everything you might want of a city. It's full of culture, trendy, lively, friendly, bustling
and yet it can also be anonymous, relaxing and spacious. It still manages to retain the feel of its roots as it developed from a collection of small interlinked villages, each with its own character and charm. When you arrive, try to get away from the tourist areas for a while and you'll find a thriving heart, beating every hour of the day. Use London Underground ('the Tube') to get around, or take a sightseeing bus, or a London Taxi ('a Black Cab').
